  • How to Signup

    Click the “Tickets” button below. Then log into the account that was created to sign the waiver. You will then select the box that says “Competitions.” Change the date range to April 19th, choose your session and check out!

    Members tickets are $30

    Non-members are $40

    Spectators are free but MUST have a signed waiver to begin the building!

Tickets

The Equinox Competition is designed for fun and getting the community together to climb. We encourage climbers of all ages and abilities to come join us! If you have any specific questions, you can always see our staff at the front desk!

Format

The Equinox Top Rope Competition is a Modified Red Point format.

  • 3 categories: Youth 12 & under, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced

  • Each of the categories have male and female subcategories

  • Climbers do NOT choose their category at sign-ups. Each category has a threshold for points. Climbers get placed into a category based off the final scores.

  • Each session is 3 hours

  • Each climber has a 2 minute time limit on the wall per attempt

  • 3 attempts per climb

  • Each climb will have 3 zones: low zone, mid zone, and high zone.

  • Zones help calculate the most accurate score for each climber and will be used in the event of a tie

  • There will be a First, Second and Third place winner for each category male and female

  • Winners will be announced around 8pm (give or take for score calculations)

  • The gym will also be closed Friday the 18th for route setting
